This week in our Friday series, we’re off to Japan. We’re marking the departure of two long-time Cartford faces – Matty and Kelly – who’ve set off travelling and are currently somewhere near the base of Mount Fuji, pretending they know how to use chopsticks. In their honour, we’ll be serving ramen: proper, warming bowls with rich broth, silky noodles, and the kind of depth that feels just right at this time of year.
To complete the evening, John Bailey will be at the piano with a set of cool, classy jazz.
