This week in our Friday Series, we’re going back to one of our favourites. It’s been a while since our last Indian night, so we’ve been looking forward to this one for some time.

For the evening, we hand things over to Sai, our South Indian chef, who’s keen to give us a proper taste of his homeland once again. He’s putting together a specials list inspired by the food he knows best - bold, generous cooking, full of depth and warmth. Indian cuisine at its best, and not one to miss.

Chicken & Coriander Dosa
(Crisp, golden South Indian crêpe filled with spiced chicken and fresh coriander)

  • Chole (slow cooked chickpeas in a richly spiced tomato and onion gravy)

  • Bhatura (puffed, golden fried bread with a crisp shell and fluffy centre)

  • Tadka (hot oil infused with garlic, spicy onion, curry leaf and chillies)

  • Raita (cool yoghurt mixed with herbs or vegetables)

  • Kachumber salad (finely chopped tomato, cucumber and onion with lemon and spice)
