The Cartford Chip Shop returns on Friday 27th February.

Jay Rayner once described our cooking as part of the “gravy moderne movement” - a fondness for comforting British classics, tidied up just enough for polite company. This week, we’re leaning firmly in that direction.

The Cartford Chippy Tea returns.

A small celebration of the great British chip shop tradition, and an evening where elastic waistbands - and a certain moral flexibility at dinnertime - are actively encouraged.

As ever, we’ll be going full throttle with the proper line-up: fish and chips, suet pudding and chips, and all the essential sides that make a chippy tea what it ought to be.
