This week in our Friday Series, we’re going back to where it all began – with one of our earliest Cartford staples: the chippy tea. Think Giddy Kipper battered fish, skin-on chips, mushy peas, curry sauce and homemade tartar sauce. The full works.

And because we couldn’t resist, our steamed suet pudding is getting the same treatment – served with mushy peas, curry sauce and all the chip shop trimmings. A British classic, done the Cartford way.

The evening’s soundtrack comes courtesy of The Munch Manship Duo, bringing smooth jazz on flute and piano to warm things up nicely.
