Welcome To The Cartford Inn

The Cartford Inn is an award winning, 17th century coaching inn, nestling on the banks of the River Wyre on Lancashire's Fylde Coast. Following our transformation in 2007, we have extended a beautiful north facing wing, comprising our spectacular new River Lounge restaurant and 14 boutique, individually styled, luxury bedrooms, where contemporary meets French Chic. The bedrooms and restaurant all overlook the river Wyre, offering stunning views of the countryside, the wild fells of Bowland and the mountains of the Lake District, and complementing an ambience where a warm welcome is always assured.

An open wood fire welcomes guests in the bar lounge area and you will find several cosy corners to enjoy a quiet drink and bar snacks. For those seeking a memorable dining experience our menu receives accolades from Michelin and The Good Food Guide and is offered throughout the ground floor, in our Bar, Fire Lounge or popular new River Lounge.

We have also created a charming dining terrace, taking full advantage of the breathtaking landscape.

Although in the heart of the Fylde Countryside, the "Cartford" is only a few miles from the M6, M55, Cleveleys and Rossall, Fleetwood, Garstang and Poulton-Le-Fylde train station and an effortless drive from The Universities of Preston, Lancaster and Myerscough. Other Local Attractions Include Royal Lytham Golf Club, The Historic City of Lancaster with Glasson Dock, not forgetting Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Winter Gardens and The Grand Theatre.

We hope that, like us, you will be captivated by our idyllic setting and be seduced by the charm and ambience of what we believe is a unique venue.
