An Evening with Travel Writer, Sudi Pigott
We're hosting an exciting evening - and a first of its kind for us. On Saturday 6th June, The Cartford welcomes award-winning food and travel writer Sudi Pigott to The River House to celebrate the UK launch of her new book, Consider the Anchovy. A relaxed three-course anchovy-inspired dinner, conversation with the author, and an evening that will make you look at the smallest fish on the menu in a very different light.
Sudi Pigott has spent nearly thirty years writing about food and travel for the likes of Condé Nast Traveller, the Telegraph and the FT. Her new book Consider the Anchovy has earned rave reviews from Heston Blumenthal, Tom Parker Bowles and Claudia Roden. She is brilliant company, completely unpretentious, and often be found donning an anchovy t-shirt she wears without a trace of irony.
