The Great British Food Festival is coming to Lancashire on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April and The Cartford Inn will be there. The event returns to the grounds of the picturesque Stonyhurst College in the glorious Ribble Valley.
The three-day festival will host over 80 producers showcasing outstanding food and drink from across the region and the breadth of the country. As well as marquees offering tastings of artisanal, seasonal and speciality produce and ingredients, there will be plenty of delicious hot and cold food available for purchase and bars selling alcohol, including real ales and quality wines.
The format, with a growing reputation as one of the Britain’s best foodie events, has something for everyone. There will be live music, food challenges, baking competitions and children’s entertainment to make for a family day out. There will also be food talks and demonstrations by gastronomic personalities including Masterchef’s Luke Owen, Great British Bake Off finalist Luis Troyano and top local chefs and producers including The Cartford Inn.
The festival takes place over Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10.00am - 5.00pm each day at Stonyhurst College, near Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley.
We will be staging demonstrations at 1.00pm on both Saturday and Sunday and we hope to see you there.
