The Cartford Inn presents an afternoon BBQ Masterclass on Sunday 20th August, with Richard Holden one of the UK’s Top BBQ Chefs! This 3-hour event will introduce you to the finer points of BBQ cooking, the techniques necessary to produce outstanding results every time you cook outside, and will banish some of the myths that prevent too many people from using this cooking method more often.
With a mix of demonstration, some audience participation and lots of answers to those burning questions, this event will raise the level of everyone’s expectations for all future BBQs.
The menu will be cooked on a mixture of charcoal and gas BBQ’s, the differences of which will be explained so that regardless of what grill you have at home, you will know how to get the best from it when you fire it up next time.
Hot smoked Salmon with asparagus and rocket salad
Reverse seared Picanha with a mustard and herb crust served with seasonal sides and roasted new potatoes
Flat Iron steak and salsa verde
Lavender smoked Crème Brulee, shortbread and berries
